Our cherished motto is the empowerment of student teachers for their all round development through education. Today education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is acquisition of knowledge and skills, building character and improving employability of our young talent, the 'future leadership. I am sure, that in MIT B. Ed College, Kothrud, you all have developed a strong foundation to march ahead and face the challenges of the egalitarian society. With the constant support from the Hon. Management, the keenness and zeal of the teaching staff and over whelming response and enthusiastic participation of my dear students in the college activities has made this academic year 2013 - 14 a memorable one wherein each one of you have excelled in every initiative that we undertook. Through our scholastic seminars and workshops on 'Life Skills Education', 'How to Write Best Answers', `Personality Development program, lecture series by eminent persons, constructivist approach in teaching - learning process and other activities like social service programs, visit to Science Park, visit to Special School like "Ankur" has helped the teacher trainees to get better insight into the teaching - learning process.
